Refer-a-Friend

What is it?

ElectionsOnline’s Refer-a-Friend program permits you to build a line of credit that is automatically applied to your next invoice by referring new clients to ElectionsOnline. Refer a new client, and the full cost of that client’s first election is credited to your account.

What it's not.

While it’s greatly appreciated when you talk favorably of ElectionsOnline to your fellow election administrators on listserves or during casual conversation, acquiring Refer-a-Friend credit requires a little more effort. See below under How do I Refer-a-Friend.

Is there a limit on the amount of credit that may be accrued?

No. Refer enough clients and your credit line could be greater than the cost of your next election meaning your election would be free and you’d still have credit left over!

Does credit ever expire?

No. Your line of credit remains good indefinitely and will be automatically applied to your next invoice.

How do I Refer-a-Friend?

Create a new account for whomever you wish to refer. Be certain to provide your referral code during setup (available at your account), then instruct the friend that their account awaits its first visit (you’ll of course have to provide them with the username and password you created for the account as you were setting it up.) Alternatively, you can provide your referral code to the friend and instruct them to provide it during account setup, but if you want to be sure it’s done so you earn the credit, it’s best to take it upon yourself to create the account for them.
